Ram Truck Brand Renews Partnership with Texas Team Trail Presented by Cabelas

Popular Bass Fishing Trail to Kick-Off 2013 Season in March
February 10, 2013 , Norman, Okla. -  Chrysler Group LLC’s Ram Truck brand will remain an official sponsor of the Texas Team Trail presented by Cabela’s as the trail builds upon an ultra-successful inaugural season. The Auburn Hills, Mich., - based company is a leading manufacturer of rugged and durable trucks for anglers and outdoorsmen and has become a key partner and integral component of Texas Team Trail events.

“The Ram Truck brand is a perfect partner for the Texas Team Trail,” said Mike Hastings, Tournament Director. “We share the same values of hard work, determination and toughness, as do so many of our anglers. We’re excited to have Ram on board again in 2013 and definitely look forward to growing our partnership.”

The Ram Truck brand continues to establish its own identity and clearly define its customer since its launch as a new Chrysler Group LLC vehicle brand. Creating a stand-alone brand for Ram trucks has allowed the brand to concentrate on how core customers use their trucks and what new features they'd like to see. Whether focusing on a family that uses its half-ton truck day in and day out, a hard-working Ram Heavy Duty owner or a business that depends on its commercial vehicles every day, Ram has the truck market covered.

“Ram’s partnership with the Texas Team Trail is a perfect opportunity to show our support in such a key market,” said Fred Diaz, President and CEO, Ram Truck Brand and Chrysler de Mexico, Chrysler Group LLC. “Texas accounts for nearly 20 percent of the total U.S. pickup market and has earned the ‘Center of the Truck Universe’ title. In addition, the 2013 Ram 1500 was recently honored with the all-around Truck of Texas award – and is a perfect match for anglers and outdoorsmen.”
