Recall: Daytime Running Lights

December 23, 2012 , Windsor, Ontario -  Chrysler Group will recall 3,021 Canadian-market 2013 Ram 1500 pickups to activate their daytime running lights (DRL).

Fewer than 300 are in customer hands.

Production schedules supplied to Chrysler Group assembly plants did not specify the trucks were destined for Canada. Accordingly, the DRL program in the trucks’ headlamp systems were not activated.

Dedicated daytime running lights are required by Canadian law.

Normal headlight function is unaffected. Chrysler Group is unaware of any related accidents or injuries.
